Like most university websites, the frontpage of Utah Tech University(formerly Dixie State)’s website was targeted towards prospective students. This leaves other user groups such as current students, faculty, staff and community members lost when trying to find content relevant to their needs. Redesigning our “portal” pages to be effective homepages or dashboards for each user group was a critical issue and top priority for our team that year.

Completely reimagining the “Answer a Call and Schedule Work” experience for HVAC dispatchers and customer service reps. inside the Pointman Web App and conducting the necessary user research.

Redesign of a system administration site for SuccessWare Remote, a mobile app for the HVAC technicians in the field. This site was primarily used by the Pointman support team and account administrators for SWR customers.

In late 2020 the IT Team was approached by the Talent team to explore solutions for a company intranet. After discussion we agreed that WordPress would be a cost-effective and scalable solution that would be easy for users to use and for us to maintain. We did extensive user research and collaborative design to make sure we were building the right product for our team. Design and development for the Seagram’s Escapes Holiday Marketplace featuring Black Owned Businesses, which Seagram’s Escapes ran during the holiday season in 2020 to support Black small business owners. It was an amazing experience working on such a large project with a creative team for such a good cause.
